How charming is the short sleeved sweater. Margaret Howell Japan has some of my favorites.

These, please, too:

There's not much I don't love about these pairs of trousers. I've been wishing for a new pair of pants, just a tad high waisted but loose and a bit cropped. Picturing a dark mauve pair in the lightest summer fabric imaginable.
o will I ever find them...

Maria Garcia and Lala Berlin
I just got over a pounding case of the shopping bug, coming back to reality with some ridiculously exciting pieces in hand. Of the wardrobe completing sort; the daydreaming variety. An Isabel Marant delicate pleated skirt, a silk arm duffel from Marni, a perfect blazer by Wayne, and this dress from Perks and Mini.

But leave it to me to obsess over the details down to the PAM safety pin.

21/06: Little Pieces

The attention to detail and materials on these Vanessa Bruno pieces is rather bar-setting.
I always love her little leather goods, like this one. In my dreamworld, I carry an amazingly lush shoulder bag filled with billions of fantastic coin purses, wallets and makeup cases!
My mind still wanders off on cold mornings to these treasured ones from Liberty.

Outsides are nice

Mini tree stumbled upon in Griffith Park.

Interesting rings found in Downtown.

But there can be something really special about coming home.
For me, it feels like this.

I finally did the walls of my bedroom and I'm really happy with it. It's minimal.

Work from Jorger, Roberta Ridolfi, Kenshu Shintsubo, Eye.
Recent purchase.

Front and back, necklace from MARNI

I've been captivated lately by bare backs, charmingly colored pieces (especially shoes...lavender, mauve and orange), daring hemlines and am currently lusting for a everyday throw-on to mix-up the cardigan safe pick. This pretty much sums it up...

Lorick scarf-to-hood spring friendly jacket.

Ankle boots have a special place in my heart, but the contrast lace really pumps these up...too cute. Pink and orange, I think it's the whole love + death thing.

Back porn. Sun sun sun. (Staerk)

I've been starting at these for too long, but the lack of heel strap has me a little hesitant. Nevertheless, the shoe is beautiful...the whole RC shoe collection gives me a fever.

This United Bamboo dress was one of my favorites from the shows in the fall and is still so short and sweet.

Agh...one of those runway looks burned in my skull. Who could forget this Miu Miu piece? It recently occurred to me that while I have all too many skirts I don't have nearly enough short skirts capable of tucking any random shirt into and relying on my legs to do the work.

I've been feeling the need to explore...get lost and wander around like there's no deadlines in sight.

Above: Growing up in the desert.
Mission: Koreatown.

24/05: ICFF

Back from ICFF - tiring, but great things.
NY lack of length of vision always leaves me craving the return of Los Angeles sprawl, but I think I could relax returning from the daily darkness to this:

Highlights -

The whole new Artecnica collection is brilliant, but the piece that I'm most eager for is Anemone - it has such character as a malleable, ceiling-table-floor lamp.

These also tyvek, huge overhead wonders from Molo were rather special as well.

The display of these flowers at Gaia & Gino were just beautiful.

And an amazing display of work at an off site instillation by India Mahdavi, drool.
