Can you imagine life devoid of water and electricity 24 hours a day. Ive only just been able to get my power back after some sort of fault and I might say it was possibly one of the worst several hrs of my life. I felt as if my hands had been cut off rendering me impotent. I couldnt dial up to the internet, watch telly, listen to music, brew a cup of hot chocolate, put a lasagna in the oven or put the central heating on. It makes me begin to understand how lucky I am to live in a country that makes these things available to me. I find it difficult to think of what it must be like for persons who dont have these luxuries. I realize that they have other things that they can do such as cook on an coal fire. I will also add that I would enjoy to be able to make my own electricity and not rely on companies. Unfortunately where I live I dont think this is possible. I have looked into it already.
